Sorry for being afk. Aside from the holidays I've actually been quite sick. Feeling better now, so I'm getting caught up with work. What has everyone been up to these last few days?

@HollyMommy Yeah, my bestie's whole family and my mother got sick as well. I was courteous enough to mask up and quarantine the best I could, but mother dearest couldn't even be bothered to cover her cough, so I'm hoping my step father and oldest sister don't get it as well. So far they're good though. What were your family's symptoms? I had fever, chills, body ache, and a nasty cough which I still have.
Rose Mommy ® @wei_ying Oh no! That sounds like horrible symptoms, I hope no one else gets sick either. And my family just felt really congested, bad coughs, headaches (in our mom's case), body aches (in our mom's case again), runny/stuffy nose and personally I had heat flashes as my body fought off a fever (which I ended up not getting thankfully). But luckily we weren't sick for too long as our bodies really were working overtime to get rid of pathogens.

What is it with *some* guys and "wanting a relationship" but not wanting to do any work for them? Like addressing their negative self-views, acquiring realistic standards for a partner, Seeing women as people and not romantic objects, etc.? It's a big problem I see everywhere and I am very curious where it all comes from? I realize I'm opening up a lot of hatred by asking this but I really want to know.

I realized that I don't have any stress outlets anymore. It used to be my art, but now that it's my only way to make money, it's become a point of stress. I'm trying to get ahold of enough money to get an instrument, but I just don't make enough right now. Nor can I find a fourth job. I take care of my mother, I drive everyone around, and I do art and it still isn't enough to even pay all my bills.
So that this is my constant reality, that's where the stress is coming from. If I can find a few more Patrons or start selling more things from my online store, it'll help. Until then, I'm stuck. I suck at social media but I do have a small following(824 followers) on Tweeter and about 200 on BlueSky. I'm working too hard for too little in return. Sorry for the rant. Just getting it out of my head since these thoughts are still lingering.

The knee jerk reaction is to say I'm fine. But the honest truth is I'm unwell. Slowly teetering toward a mental meltdown and only keeping it together because if I don't, everyone else loses their jobs and won't be able to function without me. So, like most people, I think. How about you? Hopefully you're doing better than me?

yuuzora @yuuzora Hm... that's the problem. I usually have my art, but since it's my only job right now, it's sort of become a source of stress. So I'm desperately trying to find something else. I just don't have the resources for another instrument, otherwise that would definitely work. I can't play my erhu anymore due to my shoulders being completely fucked. So yeah... how about you? How have you been managing your stress lately?

yuuzora @yuuzora Nice. That sounds good. Maybe I should try taking up yoga again? I just have such pain in my joints and muscles I don't know how to do what doesn't hurt anymore. Though I still maintain flexibility, that's about it lately. Do you have any teachers or YT videos that have helped you?
