This video appeared on my feed and it’s super cute but also tells a good story. I thought you would appreciate it.
New Year's Eve Mommy ® @wei_ying That was a beautiful story! I really enjoyed that, and I love the happy Prince. I love how he gave without remorse or holding it against all the people he gave to, that even when he wasn't recognized for the things he did and cast aside afterwards when he no longer appeared to the townsfolk the way they wanted/were used to, God saw him and recognized his work (reminds me of Jesus and the rich young ruler and what said ruler was supposed to do: give all he had to the poor, and to care for those with less the way Christ did). That's what this story reminds me of-oh! I also think of the Bible verse (in Matthew chapter six or seven) when Jesus tells the people they shouldn't worry about food, clothing, drink or where they should rest there head, because God sees everyone's needs and will provide.
New Year's Eve Mommy ® @wei_ying This is what the happy Prince statue makes me think of as well. He's doing the will of the Heavenly Father, even when it was hard on him, yet He still did it anyway. Anywho, I'm sorry this got so long, but thank you for sharing this, I loved it. ❤️
Arc @arc I loved hearing your take on it. Personally as a man in my 30s I had no idea having a picturebook read to me like a child would be so cathartic. I guess for some stories it doesn't really matter how old you are when you experience them.
