Arc @arc Apparently they have a new Higurashi Gou anime that came out in 2020. It has more death loops in it that diverge from the original series. Want to check it out at some point?

There was a lot of new construction at the time, Jean Luc Goddard, filmed those buildings to give a futuristic effect. The actor for the main character is American and he acted with no makeup to look older and hard boiled. The main character, Lemmy Caution is from British fiction made to be an American character and in France at the time pulp fiction heroes were very popular.
