But listen real quick Veruca. If we are broken apart in the trip and supposedly "put back back together" wouldn't the real reason for that be due to the opposite laws of physics the parallel universe runs on? If particles are destroyed in our universe they cannot come back, BUT in this other universe that is the opposite where destroyed matter can be put together perhaps from the beginning.
