With the exception of Yaass, I know many on the active forums are just starting their 20's and so hearing someone who's in their 30's or 40's dating people 10-15 years younger sounds creepy, but I would say that is a misinterpretation of how relationships can work. It is not pedophilia to date someone over the age of 18. That's not FBI worthy. It might not be recommended by many because people are still figuring themselves out in their late teens and early 20's, but I've known peers of mine who were managers and business owners by age 25. That's old enough and responsible enough to be in a relationship - It is also wrong to address people over the age of 30 as undateable because they are not considered in the know with today's pop culture. Adults can date other adults. - Are kids 17 and younger off the table? Yes! That goes without saying. - But a 70 year old man who married a 45 year old woman isn't wrong or jail worthy. - Unless you are assuming the 70 year old man married the woman at age 16? That again is an incorrect assumption. - Pedophilia is the crime against minors under the age of 18 being taken advantage of and being forced into an adult action. Not adults in their 30's dating people in their 50's.
