Thank you for writing!!!! Don't worry about the DM stuff, I'm the other half of my 90s generation who got in late to the internet and still doesn't understand social media, so this is still very new to me. Just imagine my 'OJO' face when I found out there were socials for all types of fans, but I digress. Yes, let's do Walls, whatever this stuff is called. If I can understand it, it works. I read Gantz in 2018; it was wonderful. I feel that it took humanity's most repressed and/or worst traits and let them hit overdrive while pairing it with beauty to match it. It felt optimistically pessimistic and pessimistically optimistic at times, a true oxymoron. I love to hear different and eloquent opinions on Gantz because it enriches the experience. For me, I really liked the main character for some of the reasons you disliked him actually, haha. For me, he is an accurate representation of the highschool guy who isn't a jerk. This type of guy wants to sleep with hot women/men or find a girlfriend/boyfriend they can sleep with and emotionally be intimate with over time. I've met these guys and girls, no lofty goals about them. What was striking about him, though (in my opinion), is that he took the stereotypical person I described, and took it to overdrive. That's why kurono was such a horndog, to practically illogical levels (hedonism, I think it's called). However, when he started taking responsibility, I really enjoyed him. As for his fearlessness of death upon losing a woman and his codependency, I totally agree on his codependency, but I think I get his recklessness. When you hit some form of emotional rock bottom (I speak from my personal experience and do not wish to generalize), you feel overcome with no fear towards anything...because you feel that you can't sink any lower emotionally. To a certain extent though, I also felt the same as you. Why would he throw everything away so needlessly? He jumps to slice a God and dies, and nothing was left of him, so yes, codependency on the mark, and maybe even shade towards the glory cultures love to attribute to self-sacrifice. Do you remember how empty it felt after the gods disintegrated him? No glory there. I loved the old man; he brought sensibility to everything. I love the onion family too. That's when you knew something was up with the Gantz system. Same here, I loved how wacky the ending was. The worst traits of humanity + overdrive = a death game with bidding. I found Inuyashiki so touching. His resilience is what I admire. An old-looking man, despite his real age, the callousness of a family, a job just to make ends meet, and a terminal illness. He meant to me: If I had a second chance, what would I do now to make things better? It really put things into perspective. He found a life's purpose for himself. I enjoyed his mechanical jesus stuff because it really put his innate goodness on blast, while contrasting with the ignorance and ill recklessness of Ishigami. To me, their godlike abilities made sense because, in my head theory, the aliens reconstructed them, and wanted to see what would happen if they "let a few gods loose" on earth. Would they torch the planet or save it? I agree on the daughter thing. I love both of them. Gantz wanted to display humanity at its best and worst, and Inuyashiki was about posing the ultimate question of "What happens when a human becomes god?". I can't choose. Did you ever read the Gantz spin off by the way? The one with the girl protagonists? TLDR: I love them. Social media meh. I like Kurono. Inuyashiki is a fun, intellectual what if. Thank you so much for the thought provoking brain food.

Sleeping schedules are actually based on the movement of the Sun and because humans are diurnal creatures. https://media1.tenor.com/images/906bbc85a7820f68a7fc658aeeceb069/tenor.gif?itemid=10195728
