Birthday Mommy ® @wei_ying You should try making it sometime, it's worth it. It's a meal that takes a bit longer to make, but again, it's worth it. Our gumbo didn't have seafood in it, but we used horseshoe sausage and vegetables, and it was already so tasty, so I can't imagine what seafood and sausage gumbo tastes like (if you like any sort of seafood that is). But, I'm sure there's recipes for different ingredients like chicken, fish or beef rather than shrimp or crab/lobster (the two things usually in the recipe originally).

Birthday Mommy ® @wei_ying You should let me know what you think about it if you ever find time to make it yourself. What did you prep for this week though? You still doing cold foods?

[Frick Atlanta] @joemama711 I'll have to make a note about it. I made some general tso chicken with stir fry veggies, Italian chicken with pasta and Mediterranean chicken with a salad. Nah Ive been plugging my lunch crockpot into something so I've been having hot food thankfully. Did you have a good Christmas?

Birthday Mommy ® @wei_ying All those sound extremely delicious! I'm glad you're eating good food, Joe. Ah, yeah, I should've thought you'd be eating warm/hot foods by now as it's cold outside...at least over here it's been pretty cold for the most part, but I'm glad you're having hot food during this cold season. I'd say I had a good Christmas, even though it wasn't celebrated in the usual fashion, but that's perfectly fine, decorations and baking are just a stylistic choice (a very fun and beautiful one). How about you? What'd you eat for Christmas dinner?

[Frick Atlanta] @joemama711 I've been trying to eat consistently home food after being sick for awhile it's been making me feel a lot better as well. Theirs been a few days where it was 20-30 degrees here and it was pretty chilly. I hope you've been wearing your thermals and staying cozy! Family grilled a whole chicken, salmon, potatoes and corn it was pretty good! What about yours?

Birthday Mommy ® @wei_ying Home cooking hits different (one might say it hits home *badum-tch!*) so I'm pleased to hear it's actually been better for you eating home-cooked meals. Yeah, it's been fluctuating in temperature here in DC, but overall it's stayed really cold consistently, 20-30 degrees like you. I only have fluffy blankets to keep me warm, so I've been buried under them XD, especially during the night, but during the day I sit inside a closet cause it stays warm in there lol. That meal sounds delicious! I hope y'all enjoyed the Christmas meal ^-^. My family had rice and black beans for dinner, money's been tight this year, but I'm thankful to have eaten.

[Frick Atlanta] @joemama711 Haha I love your mom style jokes. Food only comes out good when I follow a recipe or use something fresh and flavorful as a marinade. You should get a good jacket n thermals someday! At least you have heat right? It was nice and hearty I enjoyed it. Oof gosh I'm sorry

Birthday Mommy ® @wei_ying I do my best to bring the joy to others ^^. Most people follow a recipe and that's perfectly fine, I mean, if it ate broke don't fix it XD. I definitely will get good jackets and such when I have the means to, cause it's been a bit since I had a good winter coat. Yeah, we have heat, but it hasn't been coming on much recently and the room I'm in, it's air vent is broken...so heat doesn't come in XD. Don't be sorry for me, Joe! It is what it is.
