Pretty much. Here's the crash course/cliff notes on transitioning (at least in my case, others have their own paths): -Experienced gender dysphoria and all the anxiety and depression that brings, life sucks big time -Gender dysphoria in short - basically I have feelings regarding how my biological gender doesn't match with my psychological gender -Went to a psychiatrist, got diagnosed and after some time in therapy and checkups I got proscribed meds -Get Spironolactone (blockers) and Estradiol (estrogen/hormone supplements), start HRT -HRT stands for hormone replacement therapy. Basically I take meds that block out the male hormones (testosterone) and replace them with a female's hormones (estrogen). I essentially tell my body to stop developing into a male's and instead develop into a female's. -Now that I've been on HRT for awhile now I've essentially grow into a woman (and yes, before you ask, I've developed breasts) -Life is gucci gucci now and I feel soooo much happier in my body. I have the option to get surgery in the future but at the moment it's more or less an impossibility due to the cost. It is something i'll be looking forward to in the future though.
