A while ago I was reading about medicine in China. Some of the articles were saying a doctor in China usually chooses to practice traditional medicine or modern medicine. One guy on the forum I was looking at mentioned his mother practiced modern medicine but at home while he was growing up she'd still use traditional remedies. I've had acupuncture before for insomnia. At the time I could not sleep, I would wake up every hour and no pills were helping. So I got acupuncture treatment and after the first session I slept, not very deeply, but I slept finally. Then after a few more sessions I was sleeping very well. To this day I sleep better than I used to before acupuncture treatment. On my first sessions I had some needles stuck into my chest and lower abdomen it felt like a little stream of water went down my body. I think some energy must have released there.
