-Dies from being stared at for too long- X_X J/k ^^; Enki I was just coming back last time and it only lasted for 1 single day. I messaged you and Panda and then it all went to hell. My laptop stopped working for awhile and even when I got it back up and running I had my Comcast cable and internet turned off due to it being so expensive. Only about a week ago I got hulu on and the internet. It was killing me so hard not to be able to return here to see you guys. T_T I always said I think my family has a curse on us and I think it's true. A bad luck thing follows me everywhere. >.> Glad you decided to come back though. >:) I'm sure you been having some fun adventures over there in the Far East. Awhile back I know you took a trip to Vietnam and been other places as well so I'm happy you get to do stuff like that sometimes and get to see more of the world. I hope you guys aren't too mad at me for being gone for even longer than usual >.<;; I tend to do that a bit too much I know...I could've used my phone to log onto MO but honestly it would take me way to long to text. I already tried it when I first signed up 4 or 5 years ago and I was always behind in the conversations cause of texting so slow. I can type really fast on my laptop but texting isn't my thing at all >:( Have you been doing well my friend?

I really like the theme of specificity within the nervous system, for example there are these immediate early genes that are critical to our neurons establishing their identity and though they are the same in hundreds of types of neurons they can be selectively expressed down to a single type through a combination of "enhancer elements", a system that can even be influenced by the early environment. . @vezax Selectively expressing parts of genes is the very function of operons! It happens in other cells too throughout the body.. is ur interest specefically limited to neurons coz u want to figure out how exactly its expression in each neuron affects the personality development of a person!?
