i was recommended jaaagan agaes ago and at first i really liked it but if i remember correctly they deal with the fact that the protag is a sociopath right? like he doesn't mind killing?
i remember not liking that, because i remember it was poorly done
a well done sociopath was negi from ajin
negis sociopathy was done well because he only ever acted logically, not cruelly, which did make him relatable on that as a protagonist, and he remained consistent in this
if i remember the protag of jagaaan did not
but i never got very far in jaagan and i really like the art so i may give it another try

godspell @godspell He evolves as the story progresses. And the art gets even better with coming characters. It really removes who's truly the bad or good guys. Just people with selfish desires

finished first chapter
was a lil cutesey shonen when i was expecting air gear or gangsta kinda atmosphere, but the plot is unique enough that ill keep reading

Lamby @momoichi my opinion of jk is kinda tainted thanks for /a/ xD jK fans would always storm the chainsaw man threads and say how much better jK was. i gave it a try but the first chapter was pretty cliche. i hear it gets dark though so i gotta keep reading, yeah. what about you?
godspell @godspell I liked it. I stopped for a while and need to go back and read it. It has a unique art style that's perfect for the story. I do think it is very shonen like but thats how they are

godspell @godspell I wouldn't compare the two. They have their own art style and different story dynamics.
Lamby @momoichi yeah but both have the same rough sketchy style to it (though i think fujimoto does it better) and dont both use spirits/devils for their powers? there are some parallels, but chainsaw man is 100% better
godspell @godspell the main has powers derived from the finger of a sealed demon. Think him taking in a gun devil piece
