First of all, I can tell you don't mean to be rude. You're apologizing too much to be intentionally rude. Also, I'm pretty sure she's not full of BS ~.^ She's been actively searching for a gamerguy who likes anime. She met him on an anime con and the fun part was that they actually lived pretty close even though they went to the other side of the country where they met at that con. There's not catfishing (they're both on Facebook and everything checks out, I do my research). I do think you should not base your opinion on single incidents or examples, though. Just as not all Germans are fascists and not all Jews are greedy, not all girls will make you sacrifice stuff you love and not all will except you for who you are. You're just going to have to pay some attention to the woman and find out what she's after and if that alligns with what you want. There's no easy fix and no cutting corners
