I prefer obscure, specifically VGM on duty, and along with that also in off duty, anime OP/ED/BGM and Vocaloid music. Most of my family are into classic country, Bluegrass, classic rock, funk & soul, and some Today's Contemporary Hits. But most songs I saw in "What are you listening to?" topics are full of dark obscure vocal music, but I could be wrong in some parts.

^That guy gets it. I see no point in trying to 'prove people wrong' or 'destroy them with facts' seems like a waste of energy, and they'll never believe or admit that you proved them wrong. So like what's the point? All you did was cause an unnecessary confrontation over something that doesn't really matter much and there's no resolution aside from what you believe you accomplished. The narrative would be different for each party so the 'reality' depends on which side you're on.
