"Fake" Manga

Well manga is known as manhwa and manhua in Korea and China respectively. I would say it should be called something a bit different to distinguish it as, it would be like making a Grana Padano (Parmesan Cheese made outside of Parma) in Wisconsin and calling it Parmigiano-Reggiano, which refers to cheese produced SOLEY in Parma. The point is that western manga-style comics aren't fake, at all, but they cannot be called manga. The word itself, like manhwa, refers to a particular style of drawn, printed media produced in a country. It is like someone calling Avatar and Teen Titans anime. They aren't, they're anime-style animation. Anime refers to animation produced in Japan. In regards to whether or not Western manga-style comics 'deserve' a chance to grow, it would depend entirely on the context and content of the media. It is like me asking if my novels I'm writing deserve to have anime adaptations made of them, it would depend entirely upon the content.

I'm not sure on the character count for this site but I was unable to post a whole chapter for my story last I tried and it was only 1,900 some words. Anyway here's a segment from chapter five. “Billy, get up...” I already hear his steps on the stairs and I’m guessing he’s thinking I’m freaking out again, but that’s not true, this sight is amazing, she’s reading five books at once. Billy stops besides me and seems to be in the same shocked state as I look from him and then returning my sights on the girl. We watch as her tail turns a page of one of the far right book’s, then a few moments later she turns the page—second one from the left—with her hand. She continues reading for a long time before she even notices us watching, and when she does, a smile is on her face. A face that doesn’t look confused anymore, one of an intelligent being. “I’m learning,” she speaks to us, her voice sounding heavenly as she gazes at us for a bit longer before going back to reading, closing a book on the far left she reaches for another off the closest stack, setting it down and opening the book it she continues her reading. “This is amazing,” I comment quietly. “Tell me about it,” my brother replies as breathless as I am.

Wow admitting it was very brave of you and I meant that. Hmm admitting to a "fault" means you want to fix it. I think everybody is like that but how you show it can be a big factor. But it also isn't good to keep it I so talking about it is a good idea too. When I feel like this I listen to happy music or watch or read about good human accomplishments idk makes me feel warmer. And the not responding to ppl this g it happens sometimes we are just too busy or tired with life to have time for others its natural :)

I like when the person I'm with seems a lot like me or very similar. Kinda hard to be exactly like me, but the differences help so it doesn't get boring. Also helps to not fight too much over things or have stuff to myself and they have they're own stuff that I don't bother with. I wouldn't want to be with someone extremely different because I'd have a harder time relating or talking with them about stuff. Just semi-similar or close-similar is good, and beyond that I'd have to weigh things.

Wait another ZOE is coming out?!? Need to hurry up and beat 1 and 2 then... That said I'm excited for the new Corpse Party: book of shadows. I know it's already out, but I don't have it yet and I REALLY liked the first one.

Have a kind mouth, but a strong arm if things go south. Learn from the past, live in the present and prepare for the future. True strength is moving on, not giving up.

How I really think of it is, as long you enjoy anime you're still an Otaku. You can be like me who watches anime whenever I want, but it's not really a big problem.
