CommanderTK it's non of those. as i am not looking for a boyfriend or to get rid of my current boyfriend. just that i want a gay guy as a friend. An as for the statement as soon as this one is over, its that my current boyfriend has several severe health issues that we are currently battling. And in reality he isnt expected to be here much longer. I love my guy and will be devastated when that time comes. Maybe that is another reason that i am only looking for a friend and not a boyfriend, as losing someone is going to be so hard and wouldnt want to have to go through that another time.

I am 99.9999999999999% new to this site, so I don't yet have a favorite. I need to get to know some people before I can make an opinion.

Think of it as a "To _____ List", maybe you find a pretty girl, maybe just a really chill buddy, or maybe some out loud out going excitement.

My most recent attendance to Otakon 2014 was on my own, if I got to know more people though I would definitely try to room with/hang out; however next Otakon is in DC I heard so I'm not sure if I'm going or not. Might go to Baltimore Comic-Con next year though, maybe meet and/or room with a nice girl to be my sidekick/partner.

Hi San Diego or neighboring area people! I felt like we need a little tread so we can pass along info and if you feel like organizing a meetup, that'd be cool too! We've got two anime conventions next year! My even more otaku sister showed me the new Hanadoki con. I'd never heard of it until today! Have you? http://www.hanadokicon.org/ We also have Anime Conji! Anime Expo's sister con! http://www.animeconji.org/ More intimate and smaller than Anime Expo, I can see it starting to grow! I had a great time this year and I can't wait for next! We also have other awesome conventions! My favorite con of all cons is Gaslight Gathering! http://gaslightgathering.org/ It's a steampunk and Victoriana convention! I kid you not, nearly everyone is in costume and it's such a good time! :) And, of course we have Comic Con!! Which turns Gaslamp Quarter and much of San Diego into a pop culture and Comic-themed madhouse! http://www.comic-con.org/ We also have a fun little meet up group on meetup.com called Okore. It's a nice little group that meets up every Saturday at the Clairemont Square Denny's in a little conference room they have, everyone spends a little money and talks about anime, and just has a good time. http://www.meetup.com/The-Anime-Manga-Otaku/ It's a big group, but not everyone comes at the same time, so you might meet different people with every meetup. :) If any of you guys need any info on anything, where to get the best deal on manga and anime, etc. Any kind of geekery related question feel free to ask. I hope we can all help each other out and meet up sometime soon, even if it's just for a snack and some boba.
