To be honest, I don't see how Kid's success story is going to curb this instagram chick's belief since it's completely anecdotal and would be coming from someone outside of the initial disagreement. More importantly, who cares even? People have dumb opinions. Though I will admit flings and hookups do happen at conventions pretty often since I had one myself a while back but yeah, it's obviously not some widely accepted fact that all girls go to conventions for that type of thing but it's also not totally outlandish and unheard of lol. It's the same as any other type of social event, people show up with different expectations at the end of the day, so I'd say she's wrong in making that generalization.
