I confess that this is one of the many things that is ruining Society nowadays or maybe a better way to put it is one of the current things that is just ruining Society. Having people that are pushing so hard for acceptance with everything that they choose for others or claim for others things that they possibly can't know nor that those people themselves can know

That's why you have to become a wall, and not tumble down. You can't show weakness, its for your own safety. Especially on the internet.

You seem to be missing the point. It isn't that I am offended by the joke, it is that the joke condones an act that while it is legal in a few states, it is federally illegal and by all means should be illegal due to the danger it has, a danger that most people blow off simply because the affects of smoking marijuana for a month are identical to someone smoking cigarettes for years. It is also dangerous when used around people with asthma due to the fact that it can trigger an asthma attack.

nonono making yourself a victim to potential attacks isn't possible, that's all subjective that's like saying "she dresses like she wants to be raped" (not the same i'm not saying you say that but it has the same effect), you saying she dresses just to get raped is your SUBJECTIVE view of it. another person might find the same outfit very attractive, while another person might find the same outfit disgusting and repelling. getting offended by a joke is YOUR choice. the problem with that tho is that people will get offended regardless. you have to keep in mind the people around you, and then decide if the joke is a good idea or not. that leaves you with a choice: 1: you crack the joke, you will get haters but you'll most likely get more laughs than hates because you're a smart person and aware of the environment around you. 2: you don't crack the joke, nothing happens.

and kuro weed =/= more dangerous than cigs, that's just factually wrong while weed is bad for your brain (temporarily), it has no effects on your lungs like tabacco does. (however usually you smoke weed with tobacco). weed isn't bad for you like alcohol or cigarettes are, weed is only "scary" or "bad" because it doesn't come from legal shops, meaning it comes from illegal dealing, meaning it comes with risks being that not all marijuana is as strong as the other and if you are not informed you might just be a bit overdosed at first LOL

If you want to be friends that's cool, if no that's cool too. I just want to protect you, that is all. Edit: I fixed the attacks to verbal attacks, yestotally was right that it wasn't on cue.

You make an excellent point, yestotally. And it is the fact that not enough people think about the people in their environment or "audience" when they make a joke that it often becomes a more escalated phenomenon than intended. Also, it isn't the way it is sold that is the problem, it is the damage done to the lungs that is the issue. Anyway, we are all getting off track of the forum's topic, so I think this might be a good point to either end the conversation or move it to a new forum.
