It was one of the most popular boys names in the USA last year.

-edit- @ Dark Prince ^-^ =Agreed. And it isn't heard often neither. I mean if someone hears it they will be familiar with it but I don't see a lot of boys or guys with that name. I certainly never knew anyone personally with it and when picking a kid name I think most parents go for the lesser heard names. Gavin is supposedly rising in popularity over the last decade. I think that's nice too but it's overused severely...

Really yaasshat? I guess around this region I'm in I just don't see a lot of kids with that name. Some names around here I see a lot are Gavin like I said and also names like Mason. That is big here

My name is pretty common.
dragonflykite
Mine too Cac X_X But in school people would call me all sorts of names but for my actual real common name. They called me Roscoe , Rocky and Wody and even though I was never crazy about my name really because of how common it was to begin with I'd still chose my common name over any of those ridiculous nicknames..Did any of you guys get a nickname back in your earlier school days? Or were you just called by your real names? >.> Don't really know how the conversation started about one name and ended up in this direction but heck I'm curious XD

Nah I was pretty invisible in a way.
dragonflykite
I actually can relate to that but in a odd way CAC. I was pretty much mute in my school years. At home I felt at ease and normal but at school I was quiet and to the side. People always liked me but as far as going into conversations with most of them and getting to become friends with them was a whole other story. I felt invisible to, to an extent. Till this day I still can't explain my childhood and why I was the way I was. I wanted peers so badly but I didn't know how to coexist with them. I guess in some weird way I look to Mai Otaku for my redemption to gain friends....I dunno it might sound stupid.....

Yes I was exactly the same. I have no friends from school, and at this point in my age it's hard to start any bonds like I see in others.

I feel ya there dude. I agree. And most people make at least 2 or 3 good friends early on that they are able to be lifelong friends but for some of us it's not so easy. We're not weirdo's or anything. We just don't know the best way to approach someone to begin a legit conversation about something. I had several good Yahoo friends but I lost every single one of them because I refused to stay on Facebook to continue the online friendship. It had nothing to do with not still liking them but Facebook was too nosey of a site for me. If I could've kept the Yahoo friendship thing going I would've chosen that in a flash cause I loved those guys but I still feel sadden thinking about them and what could've been if things only stayed the same..but CAC I hope you know I'm your friend ^^; And I extend a warm welcoming to everyone on this site to be friends with you, each other and me as long as they don't mind my absence. I'm trying to work on staying for longer periods but I haven't been doing such a fantastic job so far XD
