The only life long friend I have was because our moms were friends, but then after school we grew apart and I moved 2 hours away for work and we both changed a lot. I know what you mean about online friends, I guess I still have one of them left. When I was old enough to notice the "cartoons" I liked were different than most and figured out what anime really was, I was watching late night Adult Swim and seen how dark that shit got. They bumped that they had a message board. So I went on there and made a bunch of friends. But they got lives and left for the most part. Then after like 10 years or so they shut it down. We created a new site but the ones I was close to never returned. Eh that's life I guess. Yeah sure.

I'll join the club. I ended disassociating myself from all my school/high school friends. I guess I could made a better effort on keeping the bond alive....but it's apain for me. It ended feeling like a chore, so it's probably better like this for me and for them. At least I kept my online friends from long ago. It started in an anime subforum, then someone made a group chat in msn, msn died, migration to skype, then QQ and then Discord. I can keep some of my sanity thanks to that. (─‿─)

I have few friends in real life...I'm fine with it...•̀.̫•́✧..The only irl person I regard to be my friend is my online friend now because of the distance...I haven't been active in making friends... Online, I try to maintain what I have...꒰●꒡ ̫ ꒡●꒱....

Chances are if we were good at making friends irl we wouldn't be here.

Making acquaintances is far easier than making friends.

I'm too lazy to join those clubs to discover my like-minded people in real life...(´º﹃º`)...Also as time goes by, we will be busy with our own lives...so irl friends will be online friends someday...

Clubs have never worked for me since I have so many interests that I can't really devote my time to socializing about them

Plus, I tend to have very laid back views that don't gel with the hardcore opinions found in most clubs
