Supernatural: The Anime Series

On a whim I bought Supernatural at Otakon. I'm not really a fan of the live action show, but I've seen some episodes of it and my sister and her friends are obsessive about it. It was an interesting experience nonetheless and it does kinda sorta make me want two things 1) another season of the anime and 2) to actually give the show a chance. There's one thing that I do find unsettling though. There seems to be a 90% chance of death if you're a woman in Supernatural. Doesn't anyone else find that kinda misogynistic on the writers' part?

Supernatural is such an awesome show! ^-^ It is sad though that most of the female characters in the show either die or get hurt. Yet despite that the show is still entertaining and Dean is great and super bad ass.

wooooooooooooooooooooo boy the show is rrrrraw! i dont know how you dont like it. it is misogynistic but then again, sooooo is anime and yet everyone here watches it. the point is to notice and bring awareness to the problem rather than just ignore it, you can still enjoy the show. are you struggling with feelings about muscled, large men pounding random fantastical monsters?
