i for one loved GT i especially loved playing the storyline for it in tenkaichi 2. i understand goku cant always be powerful. but how does that make beerus sama look XD as a god of destruction who barely kept up with goku. only to have him lose to everyone else in the galaxy. kaioken super saiyan blue was amazing. i'd love to see a super saiyan 3 come out in god form

The SS3 form consumes too much energy and can't be sustained for too long. I loved the SS4. It was so primal and really looked like the Ultimate Saiyan form. Part man, part ape. It was also a limit breaker, not a multiplier like the other SS forms. It also changed their personalities and brought them to their physical peak. All in all it was a great form, whether or not you liked GT. I can see a version of it happening. Goku and Vegeta regrowing their tails in order to gain their full saiyan power and having a body that can handle their God-Ki. Well, at least that's what I hope.

Yeah if anything, I like GT for the creation of Super Saiyan 4. It's a really nice nod back to their roots with the Oozaru and finding a perfect harmony with human form with also an insane boost in power. Plus it looks really different! Which is nice considering the other super saiyan forms are just the same but with spikier and/or longer hair, and one being a palette swap. As powerful as Super Saiyan God was, I honestly was not impressed by the look of it. Just a thinner Goku with a kaioken-like aura. One other thing I liked about GT was the concept of the Shadow Dragons. Of course only like 2 or 3 are of any importance but even if they executed them badly, the concept is what really draws me. Just the idea of abusing fix everything button the dragon balls are, so much that it would come back to bite everyone just wows me. Because it's obvious how much everyone in that universe relies on them to fix everything. It made them realize at least by the end of it: "Wow, maybe we shouldn't have tried to use them so often for everything." But since that's not going to happen, especially when they introduced the SUPER Dragon Balls, everyone's free to keep wishing without consequences.

That's another part of GT that was an awesome idea, the Shadow Dragons. the whole Super dragon ball thing was a little lame, but it is what it is.

yeah i agree super dragon balls are lame. i dont like the fact they keep relying on dragon balls. "oh no goku is dead, lets use dragonballs to wish him back to life" at least with the fight against hit when he died they found another way to revive him (though it kinda didnt make sense). i feel like SS4 is the best one out of all the transformations it would be really nice if they just threw it in super and use something unique instead of just another SS god form with a different color

It is my understanding that GT was originally a fan fiction and was then brought in to be a canonical alternate universe. Which is why we haven't seen any GT elements in super

Of course the lore behind the Super Dragon Balls were unheard of since only the Gods and a few mortals knew of their existence and it is explained. The supposed "Black Star Dragon Balls" just conveniently appeared on the lookout after a timeskip with no mention of them in the entirety of the Dragon Ball franchise. If they were on Kami's lookout this whole time you think he would have at least uttered a simple mention of them. Yeah the black star balls destroys the earth if used so that might have been a good reason to not say anything at all. The Super Dragon Balls may be lame, but they still are more canon than the black star balls.
