@snake super saiyan god fusion was so lack luster. i hate that they bust out a move like that for such a bs enemy. you mean to tell me fusion between the two strongest guys XD ontop of a super saiyan blue transformation doesnt kill zamasu but freaking spirit bomb from trunks does. tbh i didnt think they were gonna call zen-oh, they went the whole arc without doing it and toward the end they finally do. hit is op that guy is a boss. he can skip time....there is no way that isnt op XD

The new trailer for the upcoming arc shows Gohan with electricity around him. That means Gohan's gonna do some badass shit. Whenever Gohan has electricity, it means he's a shit ton stronger. Also, a female Legendary Super Saiyan. Super in total has been disappointing. Even the best arc was only okay. It reminds me a lot of the beginning of GT, when they couldn't find the balance between funny and action. I can only hope Super Saiyan 4 is a possibility, because Goku's already had his ass kicked with his "God Ki" a few too many times.

Too bad that transformation won't ever be a thing. And even if it does, it's canonically weaker than Super Saiyan Blue. Because God Ki is just better because screw you that's why. That said, I've been avoiding Super until the dub catches up to the tournament arc since it's my personal preference to listen to the dub for DB. I have been checking now and then on how the plot has progressed, and I'm super excited for Gohan returning to the battlegrounds to kick some ass. 17 and 18 I'm especially looking forward to seeing, especially since 18 hasn't been active since forever and female fighters are few and far between in Dragon Ball. Something I never realized I wanted until Resurrection F is a husband/wife fighting team between Krillen and 18. That would be amazing!

It is a thing! It's in the trailer for the new arc. And I don't think they'd make the Legendary Super Saiyan canon just to trash it. At least I hope not. Im really excited for 17. He got a huge power boost in GT. I know that's not cannon but it would be awesome to see a similar power boost for him. He's such a snarky jerk, it's hilarious. Also Gohan. We need an Uber powerful Gohan.

Ahhhhh, gotcha. At this point yah never know. They've been getting their asses kicked with their God-Ki so there might be another level they have to reach. Super has also had a ton of fan service. It might not be exactly the same, but it might be similar

i really dont think they would bring it back. i havent seen super saiyan 4 used in anything but GT. and it makes no sense to bring it out now when goku fights beerus and says "this is my strongest form", loses and just skips all the way to super saiyan god. what hope is there?

in everything leading up to the zamasu fight i feel like they have been struggling with goku's power. one minute he is op and can fight a god of destruction then he is barely keeping up with an assassin. he hasnt won one match as super saiyan blue.

Basically everything introduced in GT is non canon so there's no expectation of SSJ4. As for the struggle, well you know how Dragon Ball loves to draw things out, even if it is considerably shorter than Z. For the most part, instead of Goku securing the win like normal, it's been the whimsy of the literal gods that have allowed the main characters to beat the antagonist of the time. That said, Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken is still my favorite new thing Super made.

I love how this turned into a DragonBall discussion thread <3 lol I am an optimist so I always try to find the good in something. GT was not one of those things. Except for introducing Super Saiyan 4 GT was kinda meh.
