I’ll give it to Madam Yu (the one standing not kneeling lol). She was a boss lady for sure... but her temper and her inability to talk things out is horrible and she’s also a bad parent (and abusive verbally and physically to Wei Ying). Jiang Yanli is the eldest sibling and so sweet (one of the best girls). Poor girl basically raised her biological brother and adoptive one herself, she’s soft spoken and fierce with her words when need be (more calm like her dad). Jiang Cheng is the youngest Jiang and the youngest sibling between Yanli and Ying. He was much more... relaxed? In a sense when younger but because everything in the show went to hell and back he’s even more of an angry grape when older, he’s insecure because of his mom pinning him and his brother (Wei Ying) against each other a lot. Which causes him to do almost anything to be seen as strong worthy and the better one. My baby Wei Ying and the adopted sibling (even though he’s not adopted by them officially cause of Madam Yu). He grew up poor and homeless but always keeps a smile on his face, he’s quite mischievous (gets it from his mom) but he does mean well to people and he can be quite oblivious to romantic actions. He’s shameless and can do the most provocative things but gets shy when he’s called pretty, handsome or someone saying thank you. This old goat Lan Qiren is from the Lan clan and is WAY too strict. He’s the youngest brother to Xichen and Wangji’s dad (forgot his name lol) and he’s an uncle who tries... but there are things he could’ve done differently (everyone in the show could’ve acted differently at certain points). The best big brother ever Lan Xichen. He’s the eldest brother of Lan Wangji and the eldest nephew of Qiren, he’s quite patient but has his limits and truly is an upholder of justice. He loves to give people chances but if you keep doing bad things he’ll definitely try and put a stop to such terrible behavior. He loves to spoil his younger brother especially since their parents died through tragic means, he ultimately wants his brother to be happy but if someone gets in the way of that he gets angry. Lan Wangji is the youngest brother to Xichen and the youngest nephew to Qiren. When he was younger he could be quite the pushover and fuddy duddy (Wei Ying’s words not mine) back then, he had certain feelings for a certain someone but didn’t know them at the time which caused him to appear cold, callous and uninterested in his crush. He’s actually quite the romantic and after reuniting with Wei Ying he never let his past “friend” out of site.
