I’ll give it to Madam Yu (the one standing not kneeling lol). She was a boss lady for sure... but her temper and her inability to talk things out is horrible and she’s also a bad parent (and abusive verbally and physically to Wei Ying). Jiang Yanli is the eldest sibling and so sweet (one of the best girls). Poor girl basically raised her biological brother and adoptive one herself, she’s soft spoken and fierce with her words when need be (more calm like her dad). Jiang Cheng is the youngest Jiang and the youngest sibling between Yanli and Ying. He was much more... relaxed? In a sense when younger but because everything in the show went to hell and back he’s even more of an angry grape when older, he’s insecure because of his mom pinning him and his brother (Wei Ying) against each other a lot. Which causes him to do almost anything to be seen as strong worthy and the better one.
