I’ll give it to Madam Yu (the one standing not kneeling lol). She was a boss lady for sure... but her temper and her inability to talk things out is horrible and she’s also a bad parent (and abusive verbally and physically to Wei Ying). Jiang Yanli is the eldest sibling and so sweet (one of the best girls). Poor girl basically raised her biological brother and adoptive one herself, she’s soft spoken and fierce with her words when need be (more calm like her dad). Jiang Cheng is the youngest Jiang and the youngest sibling between Yanli and Ying. He was much more... relaxed? In a sense when younger but because everything in the show went to hell and back he’s even more of an angry grape when older, he’s insecure because of his mom pinning him and his brother (Wei Ying) against each other a lot. Which causes him to do almost anything to be seen as strong worthy and the better one. My baby Wei Ying and the adopted sibling (even though he’s not adopted by them officially cause of Madam Yu). He grew up poor and homeless but always keeps a smile on his face, he’s quite mischievous (gets it from his mom) but he does mean well to people and he can be quite oblivious to romantic actions. He’s shameless and can do the most provocative things but gets shy when he’s called pretty, handsome or someone saying thank you.
