Yea Personally Yaoi and Yuri I tend to avoid.. Just not my cup of tea although I do own a couple of Yuri shows cause the romance story was good.. Those shows Being Strawberry Panic, Kashi Mashi and Revolutionary Girl Utena.

I used to be SUPER into it. Now? Not so much... I can comment on a cute couple but other than that, it's no where near exciting enough anymore -.-;;

I assume it's just like guys and yuri. I have a friend who really likes yuri, where as I would never watch yuri. If I don't like yuri, there must be at least one girl who doesn't like yaoi. And also, I personally know a female otaku who doesn't like yaoi... Although, I've gotten that vibe too. It seems every female otaku I stumble across loves yaoi... and sometimes yuri. It's interesting when I ask "What'd you think about *insert anime here*" and their reply is "*insert female* in that anime was hot".
