Do you have to be attractive to find love theses days?

Soo personally if i start gaining weight from birth control again and i snag a guy and he sees my body changing i dont want him to bitch too fucking much how i have to look good since he needs a needle and shit etc...etc....etc... Dont judge u dont know the whole shit yet xD soo i pretty much want to know everybody limits on looks which im about to make into a new topic but it good to know there some good people out there so thanks for all being honest :)

depends on what you call attractive. essentially if you are attractive to someone .. then stuff happens. but thanks to all the advertisements - For the US it's outward physical appearance / maybe skinny'ness and power For Cuba - it's Self-confidence For Russia - think exotic gentlemen and money. etc etc me? i'd go for my sexy librarian, who can entice me with her intelligence and wit any day.

"i'd go for my sexy librarian, who can entice me with her intelligence and wit any day." This x 1000. Which is not to say that physical attractiveness is unimportant. Just that it's tied up with a lot of other things. Stupidity is unattractive to me. Intelligence is a turn-on.

And I keep on telling everyone but no one likes to pay attention to it lol. Physical Attraction comes first, almost every time. Personality, intelligence, anything mental is what completes the figure. Physical Attraction + Ugly Personality = Unattractive (Debatable) Ugly Physical Attraction + Great Personality= Unattractive (Debatable) You can probably guess the others. Keep in mind, attraction varies from individual to individual but we are all humans. When we see someone attractive, we know they are attractive. When we see someone with a great personality, we know they have one.

Physical attraction does often come first, but interacting with a person can increase attraction. Most people have good qualities about them both from a physical and from a personality standpoint. And the more you like someone's personality, maybe there turns out to be more overall attraction. The difficulty with that conception and online dating, is that you won't know much about personality at all without meeting the person, and you need pictures to be able to see the person. And I disagree with tornadomushoroom's statement about knowing someone's attractive when we see them. It doesn't always work like that, you can be attracted to someone after a 2nd or 3rd look, or maybe even a 50th one. Same thing with personality, some people appear to have good personalities on first impression but not really have one, and vice versa.

We know when someone is physically attractive. Are you saying that human's don't? Take a look at a young Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt, are you going to deny that they're handsome? BOA or Hyuna, not gorgeous? Come on now, we know Physical Attraction when we see it. And your post proves my point, it can be on any number look and you'll see it. I'm not just talking about the 1st look. The same stands for personalities. If you're going to try and pick at me at least do it with some sense o_O.
