So does anyone has or is getting a Kotatsu?..

Basically the table that you see in most animes where there's a kind of blanket on top and there's a heater under the table. I want to make one So I want to get a coffe table and install the heater myself and do it

Yup so that's why I ask if someone has one to get some tips in what to avoid I'm still deciding if I should make the table myself or just buy it

Oh wow, I never thought about making a kotatsu. I think that you should make one. Although that's just me and my bias on DIY projects since I'm a big DIYer. Some benefits would be that you get to chose the style, height, fabric, patter on the blanket, and wood you want your kotatsu to be. That's always more fun and more valuable than buying a kotatsu that's at retail price. Not to mention that that shipping would be quite a lot and even then you'd still probably have to assemble it yourself. T___T I have no idea when you're be able to use if considering you live in CA, but whenever you do and you have guests over you can brag about it. XD

Haha actually I've always wanted one since every time I see anime it looks so comfortable that I been wanting to get one or make one myself So am I the only want that wants one
