okay so many your first animes wear pokemon dbz sailor moon and so on but wen did you discover it was anime . wen did you realize it wasn't a cartoon and how .share your story me my friend Raul let me barrow his nextflix account and i stubbled into this category named anime wen he told me to watch this show called soul eater and from their i was hooked and starting searching up anime and so on

Haha I always wanted to answer this question well related to story I'm 22 and like everybody from late 80's early 90's I grew u with DB,DBZ, slam dunk, case closed, shin chan, card captured something something sailor moon, etc. Well I didn't know that it was anime/manga until I was 16 and in high school. My high school library had some manga and I started reading my fave manga. Then one day while going throw all the channels of my recently bought new digital tv I stumble upon channel 18.4 The Funimation Channel and it was showing Fruits Basket and Suiri No kizuna or spiral man I was so excited and that's how I discover it was actually anime . But it took me until my 19 birthday to finally attend a anime expo first con ever it was like a dream, hahaha well I guess that was to be expected. Yes it's been a long time now.

I started watching pokemon, Digimon and DBZ growing up. I never knew it was anime just as cartoons. I didnt really knew anime existed until i went to high school and they had an anime club. What got me started was watching naruto. As soon as i saw that sexy jutsu i was hook haha.

I was watching [adult swim] on Cartoon Network, I didn't know it at the time, I happened upon one of their black and white cards and then trigun, inuyasha and cowboy bebop and got HOOKED. Totally addicted.
