I enrolled in introductory Japanese for my university.
I hope to immerse myself in basic sentence structures and hiragana/katakana reviews my first semester at Berkeley.
I'm also joining their anime club. >.>
I've been out of practice for too long and would like to do something with the vestigial remains of my perfectly memorized basic alphabets. Ah, seventh grade, how I miss thee.
Wallace: Have you tried auditing classes in local CCs or CSUs, etc.? :D

I learned through this place called Language Door. It's a private language learning company. It was somewhat expensive but worth it.

I really only learned Japanese through anime and a little bit during high school. My teacher made me enter a Japanese speech contest and I won a prize for 'bringing something new to the table.'
My ultimate dream is to become a voice actor; y'know, for anime. But whatever.
It'd be nice to chat with someone say... via skype so we can exchange words and or knowledge of the language. I made it sound like I was good at Japanese but I'm far from it and I'm still at learning stages. Any of you have advice on a learning process or maybe you can tell me your 'journey' of learning the language thus far? From what I understand from the language, it's easy to learn but, it's not at the same time. I don't know how to make sense of that.
By the way, I go to a technical school so studying the language in college isn't an option for me at the moment.
