A couple months ago we were planning on renting a room in a hotel and go there and throw an after party with video games and bunch of manga and anime but it didn't happened

One quote that kinda helps me is: "We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love." - Dr Seuss A little cheesy, but it reminds me that I'm just looking for someone I'm compatible with, someone as weird (or almost) as me. It's not about someone liking you, not being rejected, or getting a girl/guy. So messing up or getting turned down isn't a failure, it's one step closer to finding that person.

As long as you are not afraid of rejection go for it, it's a bit hard specially for people who are not usually out going but if you get over that hump you will be fine. It's a place where you share the same interest why not? You have many things to talk about and many things to do, go for it like I said it's the fear that will get to most people.

Yeah rejection can be pretty brutal....

I went to a speed dating panel at Awesomecon, it was tons of fun! The ratio was pretty even. The host was hilarious. I even got 3 numbers! Alas, nothing really panned out after that.

lets hope they do that at anime expo XD
