dating at a con

I was just wondering, do instant date at con work? do they last? I'm kinda interested trying to find someone at anime expo this year actually, so that why I was wondering

It could happen because of how many people go there but it depends on you as a person if you have great social skills then you might find someone who is interested in dating.

I think that it is totally possible especially if the con has a rave in it or dance. Yet it all depends on who you find and how sociable the person is.

A lot of cons have speed dating and what not, which is the more direct way since everyone is there to meet people interested in that. Just keep in mind it usually tends to be dominated by a lot more guys versus girls from my experience. The best bet to get to know people is places where it's easier to talk to people, like people you're sitting next to or near in panels, in the vgr, at dances, etc. Just walking up to random people in the hall and talking to them isn't necessarily the easiest nor the best way to really meet someone there.
