Otakon 2013

I know--you told me. XD Well, either ways it's still going to be a pain for them. x__x I wonder if people that work there get notified when something big like that happens so they can wake up extra early. How far away is it for you? D: I might also get dropped off at Dupont circle with friends (maybe, some want to but it was too far away) and take the metro sub to wherever it'll be held.. Since there is never any parking anywhere or normal days. D:

Otakon is already around two and a half hours away for me. I don't really want it to move to DC since now I'm used to the Baltimore Convention Center and it'll be farther away, but DC is probably only temporary (due to the construction that will be taking place in Baltimore). Plus I'll get an excuse to check out the Smithsonian history museums again, woo!

I would like to have gone to Otakon, but my schedule was tied up. I hope everyone who went enjoyed it. I've wanted to go to a major con for a while. Maybe I'll be able to go sometime in the future. While the move from B'more to DC won't be too far, it'll probably be a reason a few people decide not to go, and some others decide to go. Had it been there this year I may have tried harder to be there.

Yeah well they can't help it since the BCC is going under construction. But it's still 4 years in the future so that's still a long time from now. I'm not sure if I'll still be around Maryland 4 years from now since I'll have long graduated from college xD We'll see though. There will be alot more things to check out and sightsee for people though :D

Easy fix! Don't graduate. .. XD Jkjk--I hope you're not super far away by then and miss it. x__x

I just stayed for Home Made Kazoku since my friend (who i dragged along and isnt a otaku) wasnt thrilled with the music video they showed of him. I loved the Home Made show and was really into it. I didnt think id like a rap band but there voices where so good together.

This year was actually pretty awesome, hit up the rave had some fun saw a lotta cool Cosplay and spent way more money than i should have ;;

Even though it was a long distance to go to Otakon. It was well worth it for me to go this year. I got lucky enough to get one of the tickets to get Yokko Kanno's autograph. so That made up for all of the crazy lines this year. Part of the reason they are moving to DC is because it has an extra million sq feet of space compared to the BCC. that way they can keep everything in one building. not spread between the convention center, arena and hilton.
