How do you get over being turned down?

Just out of curiosity, what kind of age difference are we talking here? If the guy is in college, and no offense to where you are in your life, but a lot of guys who get that age aren't going to want to date minors who are still in high school when there around a lot of other girls who are done with HS and over 18.

It always helps me to try and improve my self. getting turned down never feels good especially if it's by a good friend but age is a huge dividing factor because of laws that are there to protect every one. Maybe you should tell him you need some time away from him to get your head straight I find it easier to get over someone when I'm not talking to them because then I'm not thinking about them but when I'm ready I've talked to almost everyone who has turned me down and most of them are still my friend. :] hope that helped keep your head up you got your whole life ahead of you.

Its hard being turned down but after many attempts, it basically comes down to this. If one person turns you down, try another one, and another one. They can always be friends, and there are more out there with potential to date.
