I have a guitar and bass, but I don't really play anymore because I don't have anyone to jam with. Also, I can fumble my way through a mixing table. Could probably DJ a set at a small party with no problems.

Tried a few things my dad wanted me to try when I was little, didn't like any of them. I've always had a love for electric violins though. And recently I've started practicing playing on one. Sounds like cats trying to scratch metal plating for now :) I've only had two attempts at it but i'm already head over heels.
