What's the reason you're single?

My boyfriend asked me to move out after almost 3 years of dating and 2 of living together :( He says I am too mean and rude… obviously he cares too much what other people think and say about me, and doesn't love or pay enough attention to me. So now I am back at my mom's, looking for people whom I actually have things in common with and hopefully won't give up on me because I am too "mean" .

Oh yeah I guess I am also suffocating. I am socially awkward and an empath. Its hard for me to be nice to someone when they are not nice to me. I don't like flirting and i am really picky. My previous relationships have all been long term and end in disaster. Perhaps I should wait for the right guy to come to me this time.

I really don't like being one. I've realized that I'm the reason I cannot connect with people because I cannot understand people, and I'm trying very hard to identify and correct my habits of disinterest, selfishness, lack of emotional understanding outside of my own wants and needs, etc. But it's very difficult.

Why am I single? Well, I find it hard to trust people. (I've been through quite a bit since the day I was basically born) And despite my upbringing, I did come to put my trust in people, who all ultimately betrayed me. So, I have some issues...
