@amir_bahram np np! i have issues communicating and I'm not even bilingual xD so yeah, when you hit puberty you grow boobs, your balls drop and you take on secondary sex traits like broad shoulders, big hips, and sloping brow bones if a trans person hits puberty their body will become the sex they don't identify with, and this is irreversible. the only way to kinda fix it is to shave down bones but if we give them puberty blockers they never go through that change, so when they get the surgery is when changes will happen to their body, but its changes they elect to have i hope that clears it up, and if not i can try again!

Ah I see. So if a person ever regrets taking puberty blockers, they suddenly realize this is not who they want to be, they can just stop taking puberty blockers and the effects of puberty will continue. Right?
momoichi
@amir_bahram yes, from what i read the injections are every 6 months, and they can at any time elect to stop taking the blockers and puberty will begin as usual

From what I have read, yes. It simply delays it. There is, however, an interesting side effect. The epiphyseal plate does not close during the period of puberty blocker use. This is the reason why bone density becomes affected. You keep growing and you will need supplements to make sure your bones does not become brittle.

If I knew this, I would have told my parents when I was a teenager I was feeling like a girl (IM JUST KIDDING OK? I just wanted a way to get taller) xD It's probably crazy, but maybe you can use it to have taller kids too.
momoichi
@wik are the effects life long? or once you take the supplements for an extended period and go off the blockers your fine?
