Do you ever feel judged?

standwaite
Honestly fuck 'em if they're that judgemental that would be like me judging the women I date by what they watch lets say for example..the voice, I hate that show with a passion but I wouldn't judge them for it but yeah honestly you should tell them where to stick it. Or even challenge them to watch elfen lied, phantom requiem, or High school of the dead. Then ask them to look you in the eye and tell you those shows are for kids. If they still think so then say this to them " wow lady if I were to jump from your ego to your intelligence I'd break my leg" Tl;Dr challenge them to watch any gory or ecchi anime and say anime is for kids.

@eternallunar1 I haven't watched any studio Ghibli movies yet. I have such a long list already.

Only when I am up against Jotaro. His stand is the judge! https://youtu.be/ZUi0L28WJyc To be serious I agree with Aleph's response. I do what I do and I live the best way I can. We do effect each other's lives however we ultimately decide our own fate. Wear your anime with pride Queste!

I mostly just get crap from my family. Most people I know personally either like gaming and/or anime, or are indifferent about it. My hobby in miniature wargames is much more of a crap shoot though.

Being judged every single day of my life is the reason why I am not very open about who I am and my interests. I don't care what people think of me. What I do care about is when people decide to interfere with my way of life telling me what I am allowed to like/pursue etc... all because they think what I am doing is not good for me. For the record I am pretty much a hikimori these days, (I leave home like once or twice a month) trying to still be a magician/video editor while enjoying anime and games but how dare try to find a way to be happy without having a "traditional career/interests."

I mean really, at the end of the day, the most important thing is whether you are happy with yourself. If you have that balance of life who are they to judge you for your passions/hobbies?
