i'm just kind of disappointed to be honest. i thought this would be a good debate, but it ends up to facts rising to your head.

LOOOOOOOOL NEITHER YOU NAPALM OR YESTOTTALTY HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT I WAS ACTUALLY DOING

Yestotally I think your main issue is that your logic sounds “Sound” to you but not to anyone else sace for that you shouldn’t just kill people and because that will always be in your favor you will invalidate anything Napalm will say hence forth. It’s as if you prioritize how you logically contextualize things over What actually is being said by the other side right or wrong What actually the stats mean and their presentation to your responses as well as the fact that Napalm does not have to present it in away that makes you feel comfortable or “Abides” by how you present things as long as it is actually logical It’s almost as if Your not actually comphrending the argument being out forth where as Napalm understand what you have said and try’s to debunk what you have employed in your “Opinion” only refutations.

Napalm I think you actually have no idea what I was actually doing and why I respond a certain way in such a manner to both you and Yestotally at the same time or why I do certain things in debate a certain way. Like purposely saying certain wrong or right things to illicit certain responses. There was a reason why I made a joke about building a literal strawman and not building the metaphorical Idiom one. Like there is something hilarious AF here I just did XD

Also on my mental algebra and optics Here’s The thing that I meant Napalm or maybe already know The reason why I said something akin to emotional targeting by accompanying feelings along with the stats is so the other person’s hand can/may become forced as they have to recognize logic, the human aspect of an argument, ontop of facts which would have to make them debate on more then just one side and you drag them around on different points forcing small victories as well as causing a brain derailment. You can also exhaust someone this way then capitalize. That kinda thing would be using a type of packaging So they can comphrend as well as others that may be watching This is how you make debate a game. Sure your trying to prove a point but why not has fun with it as well. See where the route takes you. There is no optics if it’s just between 2 people, only finding ways to force a subversive submission by quietly shifting the debates perception. I mean there are otherthings besides using a method that drags people along But yeh that’s what I meant by my emotional and feelings packaging. It’s not about stopping aggression it’s a about thoughtfully wielding that tone as well as using everything as ammunition to spear head it. It’s what makes debates fun rather than just ad hominem which doesn’t affect much but actually do reall detriment. Literally creating a logical chaos or forcing the opponent to do “Mental gymnastics”

Also I was tired AF typing stuff and when I’m tired at certain times of day I just personally end up differently in my train of thought and how it’s expressed. I was playing a 4D chess version of it’s a prank bro XD I thought someone would’ve pointed it out or figured it out XD

that's the problem, i do understand how he thinks. the problem with debating is that it's one-sided. facts will always win, which is the exact problem. i'm not saying facts are wrong by any means, but facts without context don't mean anything. this will probably get me under a whole load of shit for saying, for saying "facts don't matter feelings do" in just slightly different context. if you have any type of brain, you will know that that is not what i am trying to say. feelings do matter, feelings are real, facts are real, facts and feelings are real which is why you have to include both into a debate. i pulled up ONE link, the first search result, and it had a study proving what i was saying right. i'm done with the debate thread, i don't feel like coming back to this anytime soon unless there's something interesting on here. i get a little depressed when i come to this site because of the debate thread. i was hoping for respect, an interesting debate, something i could actually retrieve something out of instead of straight up a bad mood. i've already thought to myself, 3 times if i am on the wrong side of this and believe it or not i've actually tried to be on the pro-gun side of things but it just doesn't work for me. once again: guns cause death, death is bad, we need to prevent death. reasoning: america has more guns than any other country in the world, and also has the most deaths caused by gun per 100k (and wouldn't be surprised if violence by gun was also the most). coincidence? i think not. why is dying bad? well, no more life. no person has the right to take someone's life, this even goes for yourself if you're younger than say 70 and/or in a condition where it's not feasible to live life. death out of self defense is also bad, you don't have the right to kill someone, even if they are killing you. life has an immeasurable worth. taking someone's life is the worst offense you can undergo.

Sorry but you're saying someone can't take their own life? I don't think it's right but I'm not going to blame them if they kill themselves so I hope I misunderstanding that you're going to blame someone and say they're a terrible person or something if they kill themselves
