I will most definetly not be alive to tell. And i am certain our species is not capable enough of actually achieving that. its fun to dream. we will be extinct before reaching such goals.

God was a way to keep early civilizations in line. I think in the beginning as humans developed, they started thinking of their conciousness and internal voice as a different being. As options presented themselves and they developed problem solving, they felt this internal voice directed them correctly and therefore a god being was born. It then became a crutch to civilization, the commander and the opiate.
