Same as vegetables, fruits, and grains. Why would I eat my neighbor who pays taxes, when we have animals we can eat?" This is a really strange statement. What gives you moral authority over animals that allows you to kill them needlessly? What says they were meant to be eaten? Do dogs and cats count under this as well? If no why not? "Farm animals aren't the ones working, building the economy, making businesses. Human beings are. Humans being are higher up on the food chain. Farm animals are on the bottom of the food chain." What about the homeless people? Why aren't helping the economy. Can we eat people who don't contribute to society? Why should we look at the food chain of animals and why not look at it socially? Why can't we eat the homeless? That would be a type of food chain. "If I kill a chicken, it's proving food/nourishment for someone. If I kill a person, that's murder. And there's a reason for that." A chicken doesn't want to die, so that's still killing something. You don't need to eat that chicken, you want to. You think it tastes good. "The loss of a person is a lot more devasting than the loss of a pet." That depends the person. Some people get really attached to your pets, and bond with them more so than humans. "Nothing wrong with being vegan or vegatarian. But there's also nothing wrong with eating meat either. Me and 89% of the global population are going to keep eating meat, so it's futile to debate that anyway. People are always going to eat meat, whether anyone likes it or not" There is something wrong with paying people to kill and torture animals needlessly. You wouldn't want someone to torture a cat just because its fun for them, and I see no difference between that and eating meat. It's both needless and both are done for fun, and both involve an animal dying for that fun. Thats an appeal to futility. Just because we can't stop everything means we shouldn't try, and that just logically makes no sense, and we never apply this to our daily lives. (so my post doesn't get lost)

What makes you think I'd go for the homeless? If we were going for taste wouldn't it make more sense to go for the privileged? I mean they'd have more fat content and be better well kept But no I'd still op for animals other than humans, hell I'd eat a pidgeon before I ate a person.

It did cross my mind the other day as I was watching some murder porn (True Crime) show, that, if human meat does in fact taste good, why the smell of burning flesh is so repulsive? Is it actually repulsive or is this some sort of biological way of saying, "hey, don't eat yourself"?

not asking if youd prefer animals over human I'm asking if homeless meat was in the meat isle, it was healthy and tasty, would you eat it? why or why not?
