im not really sure your point, rei? i think your agree that its immortal to needlessly take a creatures life i think with the "playing god" thing as far as soil goes, im not too sure on that but animal agriculture is worse for the environment than plant agriculture. im bored so we can debate that i guess, but i can cite sources so its not even really a debate so much as proveable true thats why debating morals is funner, there isnt much "proof" behind it so much as it is grappling opinions

Ahhh i see my arch enemy has shown themselves. The dreaded vegan lamby reared her fangs once more. Plant farming bad for environmeny. All that planting and then ripping crops from the land actually does more harm to the soil than NATURAL free range animals farms.

while vegans are a widely known meme all over the internet they have some good strong points which i do support. altho i do not fully support the vegan idea as i think they have totally lost it with many things, i think stepping down a bit from the insanity scale to vegetarian is for the best. but as it happens plants do need animals and animals do need plants. while i would tell the world to step down with the meat industry, i wouldn't say "THAT'S NOT VEGAN!" *cough* sry i mean, don't eat meat. see there would be still lots of meat from older animals that did their part (horse dung)- [very important in agriculture as human dung is full of diseases] but in general humanity should produce more veggies and less meat. i know i know, i love meat too but the fact is that they create a lot of pollution. but you see, i wouldn't just be ready to cut down on meat consumption and the industry, i'd also cut down the whole population. https://media1.tenor.com/images/39cb5da2502d0650d8dab39fe795924f/tenor.gif (and if you're gonna come at me with "start with yourself" i'm sorry but that won't be enough, we need about 2/3 of the population so you can start with yourself just as much) i'd like a planet where our species is taking care of this planet, and not destroy it. also i'd like to point out that cannibalism would solve world hunger AND overpopulation (change my mind?)

My point is you may be right about morality, but only if artificial food is more, or equally viable to sustain the human race. Although, dont vegans not consume milk and such either? what if those cows are raised humanely? We ensure their safety from the wild just for their milk.

Vegans consume no animal biproducts.

Vegan is the strict one. The.... silent Tibetan monk of the vores.

well my debate proposition was morality but @panpan i see you wish to step up to me once again, usually i only take formal debates now but ill do a little flexin its funny you say plant agriculture is so detrimental to the environment when the majority of farms are created FOR feeding animals instead of feeding humans so basically, we have more plant farms to feed cows then we ever would need to feed humans and this isnt even mentioning all of the other resources that are allocated to animals in their farming https://wriorg.s3.amazonaws.com/s3fs-public/16_Shifting-Diets-Blog-Graphics_04v5.png https://www.wri.org/resources/charts-graphs/animal-based-foods-are-more-resource-intensive-plant-based-foods @rei i mean i think its impossible for milk to be produced in mass ethically. only pregnant cows produce milk so these cows are constantly inseminated in order to take the milk. it can also be argued that stealing milk that was created for a baby cow in general is pretty messed up. theres no reason for humans top consume milk and we are literally the only species on earth that consumes the milk of another species. its pretty weird @everyone triggered by seeing the word "vegan" im happy to debate anyone on the ethics of meat consumption

Lamby This the only topic that is subject of debate is literally veganismxD

Before I posted that up there I was actually typing a question asking if anyone has just argued from the whole "I love meat, I love the way it tastes. I'm okay for murder for sustenance..." perspective. << Just curious.
