Bruh I literally mentioned most of the things you all vegans couldn't deny and you DIDN'T. You just came at me mad because I don't have time to reply to all of your bullshit when in fact, you all reply back with the same excuses. All and every single thing I mentioned in my previous comment is scientifically proved in one way or another, throwing random youtube videos or your own 'period' bs isn't going to prove me wrong but I understand if you don't have time to search for legit sources because it's the same for me lol. I will keep fucking giving my half-assed opinions in whichever thread I feel like doing so, don't like it? Then report me. Another suggestion, since we all are going about how important debating is, why don't we pick moderators and elaborate questions whose correct answers can be voted through MO's active users and see who's right or wrong? Because that's how a real debate works like, if that was the case I'm sure the answers would be one sided much to some passionate-people-around-here's infortune, regardless if they're proven answers or not. However, I have the feeling we don't need to get into or against democracy, right? XD Also, no, Lamb clearly said the world would be a much better place if everyone turned to be vegan, not really making it up, this wasn't just a moral issue from the beginning, which is also pretty naive in my opinion. You need to look into other countries that aren't potences to answer that which I feel it's what's lacking as well and also to stop ignoring what's the base of this whole market worldwide speaking, this will throw anybody into a loop, something that's already happening. By definition, it's just a moral issue and what we really need is people to adapt to their personal diets and to be able to afford them, variety. The world won't be better off by having all the people turn into vegans and the same will happen the other way around. Just to add, NO, BURNINGHALO'S EXPERIENCE WITH VEGANISM ISN'T THE ONLY CASE NOR IS IT JUST SPECIFIC FOR HIM That's just blindness.

Woah woah, let's not get too heated about this. I don't think anyone is on a truth speaking journey or trying to convince anyone they are right. I was under the impression this was for discussing potentially controversial topics. No need to start a war over diet.

I don't think she meant to start a war over it, thats just how she expresses herself. I was talking to her about it and also she wanted to add: mariahaiseToday at 11:09 PM and yeah, please emphasize on how I am not even against people being vegans or not like I said that the world would be bad if it was full of just vegans and it would be bad if it was full of just meat eaters XD I didn't even dwell into if it was good or wrong, although I personally think it's good to be vegan, it's also better to survive taking what we have to.

OK none of you guys defined what a human is or what deserves the right to live so nobody got anywhere. That's the core of the debate. And since some of you clowns are screaming your heads off like kids go do that somewhere else that allows screaming and name-calling. It's called debate and not screaming for a reason. (Also bruh don't use sarcasm, just explain your points) Environment is a good point though and it's separate from the moral dilemma of veganism. Honestly we can just eat insect meat because they don't cause as much environmental damage. I, Kakyoin, enjoy stag beetles. (Not made by Yellow Temperance Gang)

ok im back calm ya self maria the world WOULD ABSOLUTELY be a better place if everyone was vegan and iv spoken on this, saying that how this could be accomplished is a conversation in and of itself this whole thread in every single proper debate iv had its been on the morality of eating meat you come in with this nutrition stuff which iv said im a novice at i debunked your little "actually veganism is worse for the environment" by showing that the majority of land is used for crops that feed solely cattle. and ill add IN PROPER DEBATES ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE IS NOT APPLICABLE i have 100 friends who have been vegan since birth and theyr healthy af see? that adds absolutely nothing to a debate if people went vegan they would be healthier there is fucking research showing a vegan diet has reversed heart disease, no other diet can boast that vegans are at the lowest risk for all cause mortality the majority of water and farmland is used for feeding and watering cattle ANYONE who jumps into a new diet uninformed can have adverse health effects that does not reflect the diet, it reflects how poorly you managed on it

Morality is a subjective issue, but to the majority of us there are objectively right and wrong things. Murdering the innocent is objectively wrong. What in your eyes Vic makes an animal life lack importance? Can you name the trait that gives you moral authority over their lives? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4315380/ is all i need to say on the health matter. I believe scientific data more than anecdotal information. I would recommend watching Vegan Gains health videos when it comes to researching a healthy vegan diet. Vic, Americans eat more meat than anyone else. You know what we have more of than cattle in this world? Soy farms. The soy farms that feed the cattle. If we used those soy farms for us to eat instead of cattle, we could solve world hunger, thats how many there are and it's the main source of deforestation. https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/veganism-environmental-impact-planet-reduced-plant-based-diet-humans-study-a8378631.html There ya go. I'm pretty sure protection of the rainforests outweighs cows trampling trees. I already covered how we would not even need more soy farms. We could just turn cattle farms into soy farms in just america and sustain ourselves. Does pesticide kill rats and rabbits and insects? Yes, it does. The plows they use to harvest the crops does as well, but... https://www.iflscience.com/environment/vegetarians-cause-environmental-damage-meat-eaters-aren-t-hook/ Soy and citrus allergies would make a vegan diet hard, but not impossible. The main message of veganism is to do as little harm as possible, and this is a tiny portion of the population. Just because they may have trouble, doesn't mean anything for you. Why don't you think about the animal that was once alive that is now dead, rotting on your plate? I have nothing against hunters as long as they don't do it for sport or use a bow and arrow, but your not hunting, are you? Your giving money to the people who kill and torture innocent animals. Pigs have the intellect of a 3 year old, to say they can't comprehend the insanity around them is wrong. Its sad you won't be responding back, as i have covered everything you brought up and had even more questions for you. I take you for a very smart man, and it's disappointing i couldn't come more in on why you think you have moral domain over animals. oh well.

If we kill the trees then we all die; including the animals. No oxygen equals not fun. Really though, if everyone was vegan and only ate vegetables, then real quickly we will run out of food. The reason I said that is because we underestimate how much power we humans have in terms of sheer numbers and time. Consider the populations rising in China and India. They skyrocket more and more by the year. Any kind of natural resource we find we use up faster than what we expect. Yes, you can grow more crops, but ultimately it will run out faster than the production rate of the supply and demand economy. Lets face it, humans have to be a varied race of beings who need to be diverse in terms of carnivores and herbivores. If not it could turn the world on it's head in terms of all of the specie's survival.
