man on both sides whether you believe in something or not most of the time everyone is putting each other down because of their preference. i grew up in a Christian household but i learned to love and accept everyone for who they are. can't wait until everyone can just be cool with each other and not let something so trivial get in the way.... but that's just me and my crazy optimism

Top things I hate about religion: Door knockers - Those people who turn up unannounced and not invited trying to convert you. If I wanted to join a religion I would go to a church/temple/mosque etc. Street preachers - Shouting about how being gay is a sin / abortion is wrong etc. I can't stand that they are pushing their views on the world. The hypocrisy of religious people - "We love everyone... except those who are not in line with our faith so they will burn in hell for all eternity" /end rant

Im a Roman Catholic and I believe that people have a right to believe what they want and that as long as people carry themselves in a good manner then their religious background should not matter some of my best friends are Buddhists and Muslim so i think that if everyone could get along the world would be better and religion should be something that promotes that not stop it

I'm Agnostic Deist. I personally love religions. They're very interesting to study, and its cool talking to those who practice them, and hearing their many interpretations of the religion they practice. Although like many, I can't stand when someone tries to shove absolutes on me when it comes to theology. Strangely though, Atheists tend to bother me the worst whey they do this, if only because they rarely even put the research in to back up their beliefs. The second I get into the paradoxes of mainstream physics, I get the same reaction as when I try to tell the Jehovahs witness the parallels between her faith and Buddhism. Its kinda sad to see both mentioned conversations end before I can even get into quantum mechanics, spirituality, and the occult to further expand on just how complicated the world is versus our limited perception of it. Maybe next time I corner an atheist in a debate, I should block all the doors and windows. -evil laugh-

I recently, in the past year, adopted Christianity. And honestly, I'm proud of it. But... I'm also not judgmental either. Believe what you want, be who you are. Its all good by me. Just be a good person e.e

I'm not really religious and I don't have anything against those who are. One thing I can't stand is when the Jehovah's Witness pop up at my door when I get off work/days off. Last week for instance, dude pops up 7am on the dot..I just got home. He asks this question "Do you believe the dead will come back to life?". I told him "No"..well me training to become an Embalmer gives me a different take on death period. I told him through my eyes all I see is a dead person on a table who gets cut open, stitched together, incinerated in the crematorium, or put in the ground. He got real mad and kept trying to read me stuff from the Bible, which isn't a problem because I study Religion as well..he wouldn't accept that my opinion and outlook on death is my own and that's what pissed me off. He started to call me a heathen and all kinds of shit. After arguing I told him that he looks like an idiot, the man who gave Jehovah's Witness their name Joseph Rutherford, believed that blacks were a race created for servitude and a whole lot more that their founders and members wrote. As soon as I mention Joseph's name and a few others..he got in his car and left with his wife. That's where my issue comes from, it's not the Religion itself that bugs me, just the lack of respect for the opinions of others. I'm not putting everyone into a bunch lol, I have plenty of family and friends who are religious. You just come across those few at times that make you go "Well ok wtf". Then again I can only go off of my own experiences.
