1. Mainline Pokemon games DONT NEED VOICE ACTING. That wouldnt solve the deeper issues with the game 2. While Pokemon games would benefit from being gradually more challenging progressing through the game (since there are a ton of micro mechanics that are poorly explained), to those bitching about difficulty sliders: yes I would love the games to be a bit more difficult, BUT INSTEAD OF BITCHING ABOUT DIFFICULTY, MAYBE TRY PLAYING COMPETITIVE MULTIPLAYER. You kmow a feature taken for granted?

Sometimes playing versus AI is just as challenging as vs player. But it depends on the game. In pokemon i am not sure how you can really make it much harder. Like sure you can tweak the values for the enemies but if their pokemon are much stronger than yours would be how do you win? But yeah realistically the only way to make games harder is to give you a handicap. Lower base health, higher damage dealed, less chances to heal.

I was very content playing the AI in LoL. I played one real vs game and we got our asses handed to us. LOL I think I'm going to try to talk Arc into downloading it again. I really want to see if I can manage it now that I've gained most the strength/function back in my hands. https://thumbs.gfycat.com/PrestigiousComposedGangesdolphin-size_restricted.gif

I think the difference between standard Ai and playing against players is that even though both can be very difficult to play against when it comes to AI they are following a formula so it's usually easier to go against that which follows a formula versus a player who will take drastically different approaches each time if they feel they need to when it comes to defeating their opponent. Think about Pokemon for example, yes the standard idea to increase difficulty is to create a difference in levels, damage output Etc. Another way you could change this up to make it more difficult is to let the game figure out the best Pokemon to choose to challenge you with along with specific move sets and everything. After all when you get deep into PvP with Pokemon with real people you learn the game isn't that fun anymore because people have dived into it enough to know exactly what Pokemon have the best stats, what their best movesets are so if you know enough the moment that both people send out there Pokemon you already know who is going to win the majority of the time before they even use their first attack. That being said since it is a game we kind of want something we basically can predict, something that is repetitive for lack of a better phrase. Imagine trying to get help for a game that you are stuck on where nobody can really help you because the game constantly changes from person to person. There would be no guidebooks that could help you. They aren't really going to make a game like that because it would be kind of risky.
