Uploading songs I wrote

So one of my favorite hobbies right now is songwriting. With the advent of AI, hearing the words I wrote spoken inspires me to write more. So, I'll be posting the new stuff I create here.

To be clear, you wrote the lyrics and someone else is performing the singing as well as playing the instrumentals? It's a cool song for sure. I was curious if you were a performer as well? If not maybe you should collaborate with one of the other maiotaku members on here that have a garage band. Like Sobo for instance!

@gabriel_true I'm glad you liked the song! I wrote the lyrics and divided it up in verses, bridges, instruments, etc. and I tell the AI exactly what I want through script prompting. Takes about 100 or so iterations before I get something with the feel I was going for. As far as being a performer goes, I used to play a bit of guitar but I'm not good at it. Most of my lyrics come from my background in short story writing and my understanding of the basics of music theory. I already have another song I wrote weeks ago that I really want to release but I have a very ambitious video I want to make for it so I gotta find some time. I'd welcome any collaborations if anybody needs a lyricist. Writing songs is fun.

This song I wrote over a month ago needs to get produced. I'm again increasing the scope. I'm going to take my song and split the vocals from instramentals, then run it through ANOTHER AI voice cloner to use the actual japanese voice actress for the character that is supposed to sing the song. That would be so friggin cool. I'm gonna see if it makes it sound too artificial but hopefully not!

Okay so I used the japanese voice actress's voice. It is adorable but she just couldn't get the words right lol She goofs up one line badly: Should be "Heeding the Siren's cries" She says "Heeding the Siren's thighs" Still pretty cool to hear the VA sing the song though. Hmm...maybe I can cut in some parts from the japanese VA that sound good...
