Sitting on my couch, my daughter next to me... Sweet moments, no? She proceeds to fart quite loud for a two year and bursts out laughing, I then high fives her. The student has surpassed her teacher. I'm a proud papa! lol

Went the the Fairfield County Infirmary today. Noticed things were off. The general vibe in the basement felt tense. There was a heat. A disorientation that only the empathic and spiritually gifted seemed affected by. I traced it down to a single source. A doll in a basket.
Turns out, there are two entities in this doll. A little girl with a troubled past sharing space and a powerful empathic bond with a greater fire elemental. When you talk to one, you are talking to the other as well. Its easy to mistake this sort of thing for malevolence. This is the same kind of haunting as in the Sallie house after all. Kinda cliche at this point. But I talked to them. I talked to the domestic spirits who were a bit nervous or even frightened by the recent addition to their home at the old county poor house.
And what I learned was the new comers were just as nervous. Their acts of percieved malevolence were testing the waters. Not done for a reason. Just a bit of fun. Or that's what they told me anyway. But as a psionic practitioner, you learn not to take things at face value like a lot of mediums on the market do. You parse deeper. Peeling the layers, one by one. Until the truth reveals itself.
I was rewarded for my efforts through a pounding head ache that is only now starting to clear up, and the profound realization that there infact was a place for them at the FCI. So, I helped intigrate them with the discarnate domestics. After all, what is the county poorhouse if not a place where those with no home end up? I taught them the rules. I taught them how to be a guardian.
And now the next time the youtube dumbasses do something stupid and end up throwing open the portal in the basement, the things that come flying out will be greeted by a dragon and its maiden. The people who own Fairfield County Infirmary, and the volunteers who keep the place running have reached out to me to tell me how much they love that I did this. The basement feels way clearer now.
