Mommy’s Random Thoughts

(11:16 PM Thu.) My dad asked about you guys today, I told him everyone is doing good (or as good as they can be). He then proceeded to ask me if anyone is picking on you guys, which-to as much as my knowledge-I answered, no. Just know that my dad says if anyone picks on any of you, uncle [insert my dad's name here] will come fight them for you guys. Which honestly is a mood. I feel that. I love you guys and he said he does too. ❤️

That oddly hit me in the feels. Tell him he seems to be raising a fine young woman (Don't know about the rest of your siblings, but you seem aight.lol).

@yaasshat Thank you, Ya-Ya for the kind words ^^. This isn't bias...but my siblings are truly the best ever in the world, we aren't perfect (no one is), but we love each other and try for one another which is enough.

(7:54 AM Wed.) I some reason thought about my mom's email account and just realized that it's made up of the first initials of me and my siblings names. All the years I've repeated her email and memorized it, only to just now realize it's our names XD.

(6:05 PM Wed.) My sisters and I went back to a trail we walked about a week ago, we have been trying to find the time to go back and finish it and finally were able to today. The first time we went, we took the West trail, but it wasn't satisfying as it was short and too many people/roads were around it, but the East trail was extremely long and narrow, yet very gratifying. There was the beautiful sounds of nature: crickets, cicadas, birds, etc. We saw a cute little turtle that we took a picture of on my older sister's camera, saw a Cardinal and a snail who we helped cross the trail, as well as the Anacostia River...it isn't clear water, but looking at it was really nice. And the view was beautiful because the changing leaves, and for us not being able to be active in 14 years like how we want to, we walked 5+ miles today and ended the trail with a picture on a train car from 1926. It also was nice seeing some people on the narrow path that would pass by on their bikes and say hello. The walk had me thinking about me and my family's walk with the LORD. We came back and took the hard way, the narrow path, and while it got difficult at times, it was beautiful and worth every step of the way just to take in God's creation. I found myself being motivated to continue to move forward on my family's journey together, not just for me, but the family I walk with make every step special too ^^. Oh! And I have an even greater of a respect for our dad who would walk longer on the way to work just to make sure we ate as kids :'). His feet are messed up from the hard work/walking, but he reassures us every step and callous and blister was worth it. I know what I'm saying I'm thankful for this Thanksgiving. ❤️

(2:36 PM Sun.) I was doing my sisterly duties and helping my eldest sister clean by vacuuming her room for her while she took our dirty clothes upstairs. I set aside my earphones that were lying on the floor to another side of the floor that was already clean so I knew I wouldn't vacuum it. But alas, my horrible memory came to play and I forgot I sat my headphones on the side of the floor I said I wouldn't vacuum, as you can guess, I sucked up my earphones into the vacuum cleaner and they tore apart. Now I need knew one's, and please...my beloved children, don't have a horrid memory like I do lol.

(11:48 AM Wed.) My sisters and I are going on a sister side quest (my twin's words). Our mom is out of commission this week and is sending us to buy the rest of Thanksgiving dinner, plus the toast, jellybean's, cinnamon, sugar and ice cream we will eat tonight while watching Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving special. Our dad was gonna come with us because he gets scared with us girls leaving the house, but he ended up not going because he said he didn't want to interrupt our sisterly bonding. Sometimes I feel possessive over my family-in this case-my sisters and their time. Which...idk why? We are around each other literally all the time, usually in our eldest sisters room just to talk or be around one another, but I treasure my time with them and cringe at the thought of anyone else sharing my sisters time XD. I think I'm selfish in that way :3. I never liked the thought of my siblings getting married because of the in-laws, of course I'd want them to be happy ultimately, so it's not like I'd grumble about it. But, there is always that lingering thought that I want them to stay with me just a little longer.

Warn a person! I got cavities from just seeing that! Thanks! I speak up because I'm low-key jealous of those kinds of bonds/families.lol

(12:36 AM Fri.) I know this is coming in a little late, but, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I can't believe another Thanksgiving has passed by already, but I hope it was just as enjoyable for everyone as mine was for my family? I admit this year was a bit of an unconventional one, only due to us not being able to make homemade food this time-BUT! God blessed us with a free turkey and the means to buy a turkey breast from the store this year, He truly gave us more than we needed. Not just physically, but the peace and joy we specifically felt yesterday was beautiful. So while we may not have had everything our mom hand makes this year, they truly make these moment's fun and special for me. We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, then I took a nap at the table after it went off XD. I woke up around dinner time and watched my siblings play a spelling game together before we prayed over our food, said what we were all thankful for and ate. Later into the evening my older siblings and I played spelling bee with our baby brother as he has issues with spelling, I don't like seeing him feel ashamed and stupid for it....especially as I know how that feels, so we just gave him words to attempt spelling and helped him out where needed. I think he definitely proved to himself that he's smart and can achieve things when he puts his mind to it! He just tends to rush himself and so he stumbles a lot, but when he takes his time, he's absolutely brilliant ^-^. We watched Garfield Thanksgiving special and then our mom made cookies to go with Son In Law. This year's Thanksgiving was truly blessed as the LORD promised, and for that alone I am overwhelmed with gratefulness. I love you guys, and again, I hope y'all's day was just as grand as mine. ❤️
