Anyone here embarrassed to be a US Citizen

I am proud to be an American... but not proud of our politicians... the American dead had been lost in man places but not all. I still see the American dream when i visit family down South and in the Midwest. The system that our forefathers laid down for us is great... but modern politicians has shit on it. I stand for our troop! Also the saddest part is i looked at allot of data and if my theory is correct America as a nation will be gone in 150 years. I looked at data about large civilizations of the past and data our nation... unless we get our shit together in the next 50 years things will spiral so much that in 150 years the USA will be no longer a nation

Much shorter than that, Phoenix. If we get involved with Iran then we will be facing a nuclear power. Our drive to protect Israel when they lie surrounded by no allies is what will kill us. I don't hate Jewish or Israelis but they are complicating their own issues by perpetuating violence by discriminating Palestinians when they took the land from them.

All Hail Britannia im a great citizen of the britannian empire im not proud of being a us citizen really i think that this country is been eating off so many other countries but thats not america that is the politicians and goverment which has been corrupte quite well i might say this is why i decline joining the army I do not wish to be a tool of a goverment but am fully happy with america itself I dont think that is better then everybody else though

NO. I am DAMN PROUD to be an American. I do not require pride in my government to have pride in my country. I am much more embarrased by the PC nutjobs flooding our culture and hating on our country. Japan is great and so are some other countries, but America is my home. I'm also from a military family that has sacrificed quite a bit to protect our safety and way of life. We are a country that was forged by casting off tyranny when odds were that everyone standing up for that ideal would be hanging from a noose for treason. We have founding documents that limit the power of government instead of limiting the rights of People. If you can't find something to be proud of this country for then you're not looking hard enough.
