Yes 98% of scientists are wrong. Science is hypothetical. People forget that and often confuse it as something set in stone. Covid is a testament to this. How much has changed since jan 2020?

@kuharido yeah photo ID for voting deff sounds more secure, which is why its a good idea they are cheap, but any monetary barrier is still a monetary barrier. there is also having to go to the DMV and stand in line as well, and DMV locations vary. there is an insane amount of americans that arent even registered to vote, which is pretty unique for a first world country i believe voting should be easy peasy, in and out. every american should be registered automatically. voter apathy in this country is a real issue @hell_hound7 kool, thats all i needed to hear :P

@kuharido im 50/50 on mail in voting personally. it is a lot easier to bribe people into voting for who you want, but then again this is america, and that probz doesnt happen lol i totally agree with the electoral college. insane that one person in one state has more voting power than another

the electoral college makes sense though. considering a large portion of the US citizens live in CA or TX, their views on things dont reflect that of the other states.. the point of the US was to have each state govern itself, and if you dont like your state, theres others that are better. so you want your state to have the same weight as the others.. the part of the system i think is dumb as fuck is that theres and arbitrary number of electoral voters and also just the fact they exist is dumb.. it should be a percentile vote of the people. This would eliminate faithless electors

@hell_hound7 tell that to the elderly people in florida that cant leave their homes to vote. theyr the demographic that utalizes it most

@reisenpai66 no matter what states are going to be snuffed out. this system also leaves out many states no matter what presidential candidates ignore certain states and target others, its no different with this system then if it didnt exist
