You know times are tough when even sending a harmless nonflirty joke is considered a risky text. I gotta worry that if i say a joke someone might be offended by it

@kuharido most likely yes, this is probably the worst time for them to have had this happen. If the country was in a stable position maybe, but the fact that 1. The vetting process is fucking trash so we could have potential terrorists among them 2. We already had a border crisis going on 3. The country is STILL going through a race war 4. The economy cant handle our own people and the government will probably try to give them aid. Yeah i can see them getting backlash later on

It's possible they might adjust a little better with the Afghan diaspora already settled here. My mom was joking about adopting one of the kids. XD
